Friends of mine know that I abhor anything pink. One exception I will make is wine. Few pleasures beat drinking a good Rose outside on a warm summer evening. We aren't talking the sticky sweet white Zinfandels of college days here, I mean a crisp dry Rose served in a wineglass sans ice cubes. Washington Winemakers have been coming up with some well balanced and well priced Roses. Some wines worth checking out:
Silver Lake's Rosa Rose $10
Chateau Ste. Michelle's 2007 Nellie's Garden Dry Rose $10
Tucker Cellars' NW Indian Summer Pinot Noir $10.50
