Art Glass lovers rejoice! This is your weekend. Take a trip to T-town this Saturday or Sunday as rumor has it that the Museum of Glass will be free of charge for the opening of the new Preston Singletary exhibit; Echos, Fire, and Shadows. Preston Singletary creates unique art glass inspired by his Native American heritage.
Head north to check out Mr. Singletary's old stomping grounds and the famous art glass school founded by Dale Chihuly. Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA hosts an open house on Sunday, July 12 from 12 noon -5 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, but any lover of glass knows that's a bargain as the school is rarely open to the public.
